Scaleber Force is situated in a deep wooded gorge near Settle and is without doubt one of the most attractive and atmospheric waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales.The waterfall is situated at the point where Stockdale Beck flows below Scaleber Bridge before plunging down several rocky ledges down into Scaleber Wood. Downstream from the waterfall the stream is renamed Scaleber Beck.
