Zombie Manor

Been around for a while this place was infamous for zombie airsoft, with the main building unsafe and the outbuildings wrecked, you can only assume they gave up the fight with the decay!

This place is a former country house in England. It was built in 1759 for George Heron. The house is constructed in brown brick with stone dressings, and has a slate roof. Its architectural style is Georgian. The house is in three storeys and seven bays. It has a stone plinth and stone bands between the storeys. Framing the middle three bays are rusticated pilasters, and similar quoins at the corners. All the windows are sash windows. Along the top of the house is a plain parapet, with a pediment above the central three bays. For some years from 1955 it was used by a charity, now known as Scope, as a residential home for handicapped people. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated GradeĀ II* listed building.

It suffered a devastating fire in 2016 leaving the entire main building completely destroyed only the shell remains. Such a shame!

We should mention the estate grounds really, as not only do you have to crawl and trawl the hallways and passages of the manor house itself and sadly you ll find that the electricity supply can be as temperamental as the rotting lurchers who are dying to eat you but there s also over sixty lonely acres of gardens to skirmish with the soulless in.
